In the last quarter of the 1800s, monotype parties were the rage for all artists in Europe and America. In this two-day intensive workshop, participants use their drawings, paintings, or photos as reference as they explore the printing territory pioneered by Edgar Degas. Demonstrations include traditional monotype printing techniques and manipulation of the image with watercolor, gouache, and pastels. A gourmet lunch is served daily.

With its ever-changing light, dramatic mountains, and crystal-clear sea, this stunning location offers endless inspiration for artists.
Please join me, and the Current Reflections Fine Art Gallery for a weekend of plein air painting, local food and wines and Eastern Shore hospitality. We will paint on the beaches of the famous Paramore Island, at local vineyards and the streets of the quiet fishing town of Wachapreague.
